![]() Drinking and playing eq (like sitting at a desk by myself drunk) makes me feel super pathetic and very much an alcoholic... so I don't do it too much, haha.. tipsy once or twice a week though!

![]() I play sober now. I used to be a pothead during the glory days of EQ (99 - 05). I did some stupid things while playing high, such as selling an uber weapon (can't remember the name of course) to a vendor NPC accidentally, etc.
Glad to be playing clean and sober, this time I might remember something....

![]() I've always played sober. Back in the day and now. Drinking alone while sitting on my ass at home playing a video game seemed kind of pathetic. It was bad enough I used to play the game 12 hours a day. It just annoyed me to be under the influence and playing this stupid game, my mind would wander and I wanted real living breathing people who were actually there so I could annoy them.
For the same reason I never understood LAN parties with drinking involved. I can do one or the other. I would either end up getting shitfaced and ignore my machine for the rest of the evening, or hold back from drinking and focus on playing the games instead. Can't have both, I've got a one track mind.

Honestly, in 99% of the encounters in classic, there's 0 excuse for dying as a cleric [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. That's part of the appeal. Only necros and monks survive more trains.
