How exactly does Clickie Gear Work?

For a period on live, you could also activate a clickie, then sit down and med while the cast bar ticked down, you could then stand up before it finished to complete the cast. Worked great for the 20/30 second cast Donal's BP.

This doesn't work here.

Correct, that change happened during velious. If i recall the spell on the BP was changed to something else and it puts a buff of some kind on your target, preventing them from being targeted by that spell again for the duration.
