It's incredibly depressing to me that I am playing again on green because red is so pointless.... but I just love this game. I would cry tears of joy for a new Red Server... I know 7 people right now not including myself that would reroll on it instantly. I talk to other people in my guild on green and it's the same everywhere... everyone has a small group of like at least 5 friends that would roll red if they wiped clean... I feel like red had like 5 years of life and it's been dead ever since. I remember sneaking Voxx under Nihilims nose for almost a year... shit was fun, but really man... red's been dead since like 2013 or 14ish... once it was below 300 at a regular basis... now it struggles to reach 90... like what are we doing?

You should roll a character on RoT. It launches in January. It is going to be mainly classic.

Main differences:

2 box - Biggest difference, it is what it is, I personally can't play EQ without 2 box anymore because of how boring and slow this game is without it. I know it kills others immersion but if you are honest with yourself all the immersion with classic 1 box EQ is dead anyways. You can sit on Green with a big population and still no one is going to group with your level 30.

Instances - They are putting in 1 raid per expansion that can be repeated weekly. This is the first time they have tried it, just giving smaller guilds something to help progress. It still gives top guilds plenty of raids to fight over but throws the weaker guilds a bone.

classic is big dick because low pop forces pvp in small contested zones. But the loot quickly becomes stale I guess.

Kunark/Velious made for 1.5k+ pop or you never see people
