With 10, the user doesn't have any true control over most crucial features of the operating system. Disabling Cortana on the anniversary version is a fucking nightmare. There are force updates that a user can't opt out of. Windows 10 sends telemetry data and ignores the hosts files, the DNS protocol and some basic firewall rules. Also, twice per year you may reinstall software deemed not required by Microsoft. And finally, older games and applications either do not work or have severe problems (P99 falls into this category, look at all the posts in the P99 Forums where people inquire/bitch about it).

Bottom Line: Windows 10 sucks.

I've deployed literally hundreds of Windows 10 machines and had nowhere near this many problems with it.

Cortana I disable during OOBE and never see it again.

If you have problems with updates you need to get the LTSB version.

P99 has worked fine on my Windows 10 Home PC, Work PC, and Laptop.

Pretty sure it does. But according to this article from 2015, Enterprise customers will be able to disable. Still, I think its an unnecessary thing to have as a default setting of an operating system.
