for literally 100% of LoL players, LoL is the first and only moba genre game they have ever played so they have no frame of reference for quality or skill.

I started off with DoTA, and played DoTA back when it first came out on WCIII RoC. Played it all the way up until right around when Slark, Ancient Apparition came out. I started playing LoL a few months after it was released. With that being said. I've found LoL much more enjoyable, face paced, and in some cases more difficult. (Though the one thing I REALLY miss about DoTA was only being able to have 1 orb effect. You had to pick and choose. The one thing everyone else loved about it that I hate is denying. It slows things down, and whoever is better at last hitting/denying wins lane. As opposed to who is more dominant. Whether skill shots / offensive / baiting. Whatever.) Though I do miss the ole afk rice farm on AGI carries in lane, and the occasional ganking sometimes getting to the point of HOLY SHIT someone stop that guy *beyond godlike.

As far WarZ. I enjoy WarZ much more then DayZ despite ARMA being one of the best FPS games of all time. It just took what was good out of the MOD, and improved on it.

Now I know I am going to get the elitist tongue lashing.

dota 1 -> league of legends :: superman 64 -> console gaming

dota 2 has taken over for dota 1 in tournaments because it's a lot easier to have valve host the tourneys with their own game.

also, lolmadfanboy, league is so simplified compared to dota it hurts. Hold your hand store, no denying, simplification of heroes, i could go on for days.
