It’s kinda semantical to say people fight over <thing, game, place, girl> when they’re really fighting over being disrespected. Nobody likes to be disrespected.

If the medium you’ve been disrespected on is a video game it’s probably in your favor to keep a good arms distance from rl threats- either don’t let it get to you or atleast be humorous when you return the insults.

You never know when someone is going to only record one side of the argument and post it online in an attempt to make a mockery of you.

Let’s all be honest though, what’s more lame: telling someone you’re going to knock their teeth out over pixels OR editing out yourself instigating and antagonizing someone to the point they're threatening you, then posting it online?

Atleast with threatening people there’s a sense of honor or atleast it’s in an attempt to defend your honor: while editing yourself out of a convo of someone else at their lowest and posting it online is some shit girls do to eachother.
