this didn't happen today, but I reflected on it and I think it's funny

back in march when we were still half-half calling it corona and covid, but definitely starting to become serious. at that time I was still holding onto the hope that it would probably go away in the summer. I went and bought a 24 pack of corona

It's not that I thought it was very clever, but I was smilin hard when I bought it. Took it to the register keepin up that hard smile and the guy at the register gave me NOTHING.

no emotional response at all

felt like an asshole

i havent bought corona since. shits expensive anyway

Lake Perris in Southern California. When camping by myself I prefer less finished (and certainly less crowded) places, but it was my son's first time out so I wanted to keep the outdoorsiness pretty much limited to sleeping in a tent outside [You must be logged in to view images. I didn't think to take any pictures without the kiddo in them, unfortunately, so I have none to share :-/

The fall leaves look beautiful where I live right now. The seesaw of super cold nights and warm days always seems to produce amazing colors.
