You have to attack an adjecant zone, so no city could attack another city the first day. I don't se how it could be level balanced....

As far as how many zones you can go after, I say if they are adjacent to you then you can go for them, just gotta be careful that your aren't splitting your army to fight 2 diff ones : p i think tht the less rules that we have, the more different strategies could be utilized, but of course theres needs to be some rules, like i think everyone should be bound in their home city, and if you die in a battle you can't go back for that particular fight ( perhaps after to get your corpse )

well i'm for alliances especially
being that it would make this much easier to manage,
instead of each race being their own team.
having "united" armies would be so much cooler

otherwise, it will be very unbalanced, seeing that some races are used more than others

and make the war about fighting for antonica.
that would be so epic imo
