Unfortunately, I would not be surprised to see the same sort of DRM on PS4.

This is the way the industry is moving. Does it suck? absolutely. Can we stop it? no.

Adapt or vote with your wallets (though those votes wont count, because lot of other people will vote against you).

I completely agree. This is something the game industry has been pushing for for a long time. Its not just M$. This is what happens when EA and a couple of other distributors gobble everything up.

My last console was a PSP and that was just so I could play PS1 games. RPG and good haven't been used in the same sentence since the PS1, IMO.

Voting with your wallet works... Look at Windows 8 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Course, when that bombed, Microsoft decided not to take credit for a flawed product but instead blamed the critics for making the product look unappealing to consumers...

I am dedicated to PC gaming and everytime PCGamer does an E3 article that references the Xbox One they call it the Xbone. I enjoy it every time cause next it is going to turn out that the early adopters got Xboned and it will continue from there.

that's the sign of a bad company, "the critics don't know what they're talking about even though they're reputable critics and our customers are dumb because we think they are because they depended too much on a 'start' button and not something that was meant for tablets unstead of mouse and keyboard inputs." unless they've mastered some "new-coke" style of business, Gabe help us if so

Check your facts before you post dribble. Windows 8 sales are keeping pace @ the 6 month mark (May 7) with Windows 7 - a critically acclaimed OS that *everyone* appears to love. This example is flat out wrong and actually proves the point you made about critics.
