altho some things suck like no equipping mercs and small stash, i actually enjoy classic diablo 2 better. rares are whats up in classic not the stupid ass runewords. i really feel like they ruined the econ and game. especially things like nigma but oh well cant have it all. diggin LoD so far, gonna get to nightmare tonite.

Same, I didn't even play LoD for years after it came out. In classic I felt like I hit the lotto when I found Tri-res, max mf, max run speed rare boots.

yea rares are much more exciting in classic, the chance for good stats seems to be much higher
