Removing xp loss in pvp is way more important for server health, and im not sure why its taking so long to implement.

Isnt it like a line of code to switch on/off?

The changes are going to go in during the next patch. I'm not sure what needs to happen to make the changes active on the server, but I assume they would need to take the server down to make it happen. Pretty sure they don't want to bring it down just because you think this one change warrants it. Patches are generally released the way they are because it makes more sense to change a bunch of things at once than it does one at a time, especially if the servers need to come down to make said changes happen.

That kinda seems like common sense to me. We've survived over a year with xp loss in pvp, and now that they have given us the good news you're overexcited and demanding again. Calm down; change is on the horizon. Experience loss will be gone next patch, unless something unforeseen gets in the way between then and now.

Be patient.

Eve online goes down for an hour every single day for updates. This server is going down the shitter fast

Some people who are quitting are probably not looking back and those people are gone for a long time, if not forever

As soon as i learned about xp loss in pvp being patched, i reinstalled game and logged in, to a different server than the one i left 2-3 months ago
Thats my reasoning for patching xp loss in pvp and xp gain ASAP
Because as much as i want to play EQ pvp like i used to on Rallos, im not going to invest time on a dead server

EQ is pretty fun but its a "marathon payoff", i didnt last past 2 days after i reinstalled because i think in all fairness devs have something to prove that they wont just let server deteriorate again
Motivation wasnt there to put hours in EQ again without knowing for sure server wont be deader than dead in 2 months

Yeah, server is free, we arent entitled to shit, but it works both ways, we dont have to play on a server thats left to its own devices without any kind of checkups on if server can be improved or not

6 to 7am EST
