Which window?

hotbutton window is (alt + H)

One thing I might suggest is resetting your UI. Go to options (alt+o), then General tab, then click the Load UI Skin button.

Uncheck where it says Keep your layout. Then, load a skin. This should revert it to default positions. (note: this will remove any macros or placement you might want to keep)

well alt H only hides the hotbar, doesnt "unlock" it.
all chat window/spell slots and such moved around but lacked the right click option
hotbar did not move and lacked right click option

resetting the UI for now as I cant find a fix. thank you for your help =)

edit - resetting fixed most of my problem. I can now move stuff around, but still lack right click option. weeee
edit 2 - with the new UI changes which made the hotbars vertical (ala classic), is there a way to show 2 hotbars or no

If your using the Live version of the Ui then that would be the biggest reason as to why your having issues. Have you tried using just the supplied defaultwith the basic UI change zip? If you need to re download the files they can be found in my sig.

the other thing to try is to temporarily move your UI_name_project1999.ini file from out of your EQ folder while out of game and let the system make a new one and see if you have the same issue.

Unfortunately neither of your suggestions worked. I first tried moving my ini file and I had the same problem with my hotkeys missing.

I used the basic UI with the changes and still had the same problem. any other ideas?
