what does that break down take into consideration? If it's not above level 10 or so, probably half if not more of those bards are probably level 5 trader alts...
I don't remember and I can't seem to find the thread. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

i'd be shocked if bards were the #3 played class above level 50. I'd think if anything they would be bottom 5.

Played, no idea but I can say with experience it's the easiest class to get to 50. My bard "alt" is 2 levels above my Necro "main" and I only play my bard with my girlfriend when she stays the weekend. Gotta love that swarm kiting.

Hasn't been updated since Feb, but it had over 4k characters seen. Even with the bard mules not filtered out, bards are towards the bottom of the popularity chart.

Huh, it was probably that when I looked at it I expected to see bards up there because when I first joined there were a bunch of bard kiting complaint threads. Looking at it again I remember being pleasantly surprised that bard wasn't near the top of that list and my character might be in demand in the event I wanted to join a group or raid (ZOMG I can twist 3-4 songs~).

I take back half of my original statement on it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Druid's were the top class hit for the first MQ/SEQ ban wave too.

The most detrimental human on p99 is:

Every single person in the entire player base.

The least classic element of p99 is:

Every single person in the entire player base.

It's not nilbog's fault this server isn't classic, it's not rogeans, it's not kanras's.. Sirken's.. etc..

Unless the Men In Black wand is waved, you're going to have the top 5% of the hardcore in 1999 from each server all crammed onto one tiny little box, duking it out and griefing the hell out of each other. Everyone knows where the FBSS drops. Everyone knows where Efreeti Lord Djarn spawns. Everyone knows how to get a key to Old Sebilis.

There's a reason certain books had a more richer re-read value than others. And imagine gathering 500 other people who loved that book (or series) and compete to see who can get to a happy ending faster. Rote memory + common logic =/= incomparable skill.

14 years ago this digitized whack-a-mole game came out that doubled as an AOL Chatroom. The combination of the two was addicting and, due to a lack of other MMO-type options at the time, it became a part of a lotta ppl's lives. Trust me when i say the chatroom aspect of it was a lot more rewarding and built better memories than the whack a mole part. In combination, though, they were pretty gold. Enjoy it.
