Angry Need expert network assistance

I'm trying to figure out why time after time after I select my character and press "Enter World", it'll sit there and wait and wait until it says, "Screw you, go back to login screen." I've attached a screenshot of my network activity during this time. Whenever I have this pattern, the result is failing back to logon screen. It will usually do this 3-10 times, and then with no change, it will let me in. Usually once I'm in I'm good to go until I log out. When it works, all these upload spikes are gone and it looks more "normal". What could be causing this?

There is nothing else of note running during this time; that screenshot was taken with only that network monitor tool open, and EQ. Two disconnection iterations are shown; on the next attempt, I was able to load my character normally. I changed nothing.

I am having the same issuse as well, I believe it has something to do with me being on wireless and a high ping. This same computer hard wired at my work ( computer store ) works fine. If I am able to correct the issue I will report back!

Yes, I am. But I'm trying to figure out -why-. Why in the world would my client decide, for no apparant reason, "Yes, I know you normally play for 12 hours straight on 500ms ping with no issues. But right now, instead of letting you in, I'm gonna sit here for 90 seconds and just upload [unknown data] about 40 times, then decide to kick you out and make you try again." I'm not looking to fix it, I'm sure that's gonna be neigh impossible. But I need an expert to understand why, before I go completely batshit crazy. I can transfer gigabytes of data just fine on a wireless connection... loggin into a 15 year old game should -not- be an issue.

I've deduced further information about this problem. When I chose the server, and click "Play Everquest", then load the character select screen, about 3/4 of the time as soon as I enter character select, I lose connectivity to the server. When I enter the character select, and start to see the pattern in the screenshot above, I might as well exit out and try again. It means that after a minute or two, I'll be disconnected... weather I'm trying to make a new character, or enter the world as an existing one, or even if I just sit there. So the new question is: Why am I only creating a working connection 1/4 of the times I make it to character select? I make it there at least 75% of the time.
