I read Hastley's response and it all sounded pretty reasonable to me. Heck I even got invited into a group by Hastley (he seems like good peeps to me) that had some red cons in it, but you know what, it was 100% more experience than I was getting standing around in Rivervale. And if I didn't like it no one was stopping me from forming my own.

Like he said, this isn't live, there aren't 1500-2000 active players on this server. It isn't always easy to find replacements, heck its amazing you can even find A replacement on an emu servers at certain hours of the day.
