What happened to cause prices to go through the roof these past months?

Fungis, Hiero Cloaks, Mithril Arms, Tolan's Bracer, JBB, Woodsman's Staff, Iksar Hide Mask, Mask of Obtenebration, Ceremonial Iksar Chestplate, guised accounts, accounts in general, Helot Skull Helm, Rogue Epic MQ, Cleric Epic MQ, Earring of Essence...

off the top of my head those are items that strictly doubled in price, leaving out items that simply spiked for roughly 100k more but didn't necessarily double (manastone)
