He is, supposedly, correct.The way it was explained to me, was that if the server is experiencing a lot of lag and you die but use a clickie before your client registers the death, the server will receive the information that you were trying to use the item but you are dead which results in a fizzle.

I have been trying to reproduce this without success because I have not yet had an opportunity when the server was experiencing lag. Of course, it would be extremely helpful if the staff chimed in with how the code was set up here and whether or not it was technically possible.

Saying a situation can be reproduced != a situation being reproducable.

Nobody has been able to provide concrete proof of a monk fizzling spells in nearly a month since the inconsistencies in Zeelot's logs surfaced. In fact, I created a thread earlier this week, asking for evidence of such an event occuring: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...d.php?t=104586

So far, on a server with 100's of monks, and nearly a months time, nobody has been able to provide a shred of evidence that a monk fizzling spells is a possibility.

Talk is cheap. Prove it.
