Was this at either mohegan sun or foxwoods by chance? Even at a 1 and 2 dollar table, bets snow ball very quickly. You're not going to get into many hands with a $2 blind. I live about 15 minutes from mohegan, and about 25 minutes from foxwoods.

This was at mount airy casino in pa. I usually play there or AC. I stayed in with 23 because I was BB and nobody bet, so I saw the flop. Same with the 97 hand, the table played tight so nobody was pushing the action.
