I'm fairly certain this is your problem, as its the only reason why this would occur:

It sounds like you forgot to change your login server info. If you dont do this, it will try to log you into sony's servers, which you obviously dont want.

That being said, its very, very possible that your EQ client has been patched now. I would suggest doing two very, very important things:

reinstall EQ completely (delete everything and reinstall the whole program)

Read through my whole FAQ as well as the handy setup guide found on the forums (the link to my FAQ can be found in my signature below)

After you have done these things, please repost if you are having the same problem. Please be sure to post the exact steps you took while reinstaling eq and getting everything setup (also, please follow the setup guide step by step very carefully, and ReAD THE FAQ before posting!!)

heyo. got it working with the change to login server. have had to do the UI setup as well. i chose luclin spell icons but anyway i cannot get the spell particles to work. in game options don't respond it seems. any fix?
