Error 1017 (yes, I've searched)

Do any readers out there have any experience with playing via a tethered connection? If yours works, who is your provider?

Provider is MetroPCS on a 4g connection speed. Have it directly tethered atm and it's still giving me issues on connecting to the server. Earlier I was attempting at a wireless connection via hotspot from my phone.

I've gone through the log and the following is what I'm getting...

2013-02-13 19:50:02 *** ERROR: WorldAuthenticate. My message arrival was NULL, the net has been shutdown.

Do you guys think it's something on MetroPCS's end that's causing the problem? I am also having issues with other games so I believe it may be...but I'll do more digging and wait for more replies prior to calling them.
