My wifes computer has this same error, mine works fine, they are virtually identical and hers did work up to about spells vers 22 or 23. We haven't played in a while but mine works fine and now hers won't work! It has something to do with the dll file I replaced every file one at a time and could start it no problem each time, till I added the dll, something in there her comp doesn't like. XP sp3, geforce 9500 GT, xtreme sound 5.1. As I said it worked fine before and now it doesn't.
