95% of your experience on 1999 will not be decided by your class. If you want to 'succeed' here and I use this term very loosely then:
1) Know game mechanics. EQ is a simple game with very little micro. You don't have to be the fastest jav in the west, you just have to basically know what you are doing. Read guides, talk to players, etc.
