Ignore resident trolls here, but he is right its a resolution issue. You can edit eqclient.ini manually with notepad or dl wineq 2. With wineq 2 just make sure to install as admin/run as admin

what would I have to do in the eqclient.ini? I'm super noob with computers any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open eqclient.ini with notepad, scroll down for [videomode], you will get something like
[VideoMode]
WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=1024
Width=1280
Height=1024
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=1280
HeightWindowed=1024

Try changing width and height to those settings or to your native desktop, prob 1920 X 1280 and saving
