Wizard, you needn't use the emulator to play(except very first time)

You make a shortcut of your EQGame.exe and add "patchme" so it reads:

C:\whereveryouinstalled\EQ\eqgame.exe patchme

Use this everytime until it gives you any errors when running the game, and THEN you use EQ Emulator to update.
