Turn up in any of the "well trodden" zones during peak time - Unrest, MM, Highkeep, Sol B etc as a rogue and you'll be loved forever.
Rangers are awesome, but their downfall comes with the Nazi "omg hybrid elf slowing my xp" crew who will refuse to have you in the group.
