This used to be a viable way to pull named in CoM actually.. Instead of clearing to the top for the magician epic, you'd /targ Neh, and then /pet attack, /assist pet.

You could pet attack then assist pet to get Neh on target. But THEN you still had to fire off a bolt to actually agro her.

But you had to be close enough in the x/y direction. It was not dependent on Z. So you did not have to have someone to open locked doors. But you could not do it from the zone in. You had to be wthin a certain proximity.

It was the pet pulling as an SK or Necro that I liked most though.
