they all suck, Gnomes are slightly better but just because they kept true to the original models
I thought gnomes were among the worst! The facial hair on the luclin models for them is shite!

I will admit that the gear looks better with the Luclin Models, but not the toons.

I've never even tried really the new models more than 10 seconds because back then I could barely run EQ and then I simply hated them with a passion for not being nostalgic at all to me. Did they add different looks for the armors? I suppose there still is only 1 type of plate armor for ogres for example, but I'm curious?

Strangely enough, there are actually fewer armor textures using the new models because the new models don't support Velious textures.

While I don't care too much what someone else prefers, my main gripe with respect to the Luclin models relates to how a character might have entirely different features like facial hair and hair color depending on which model was selected. The terrible quality of animations for the newer models didn't help any, either.

But didn't they add, at the same time, the ability to change your character customizations as many times as you wanted? Your choices were no longer frozen at character creation. (Which was no small hit to immersion, IMO)
