A small amount of boxing was classic due to computer/$ restrictions. Most peoples cheap computers these days could play 3-4 EQ chars at once without struggling. See the difference?

Uhm no? I really don't.

The only reason boxing isn't allowed is to enforce social grouping, which is now no longer required because the population is high enough.

Kinda like how they had global chat to begin with because it was required, but now it isn't...

So what's the deal?

i still think a limited amount of boxing should be allowed, very limited tho. it would enhance grouping and make it way better, specially for the offpeak people... but whatever people are stuck in their anti boxing ways.

no full group boxes n shit.. that's just bad.
