Good Faction

are not superior to Ogre/Troll benefits:
Slam
HP regen (troll)
Stun immunity (Ogre)

unless leveling speed is important. But honestly I'd suggest you enjoy the journey, the top isn't nearly as fun as everyone makes it out to be.

Well, sort of saggy. But what the heck. I think it depends if you want to solo a lot. The Troll or Iksar regen is a big help.

Tanking, Ogre Stun Immunity does help. Not counting crazy starting stats.
