Hippo you are pretty spot on, item loot shows guild loyalty, affiliation and promotes good players building a community.

Without it, it takes longer but I says someone who's been on either side for a year and put up with w/e from there has earned their ***'s to be considered worthy oponents.

Its far far worse on a pure blue server ;p Were people PVP by KSing and generally being asshats. Here at least you got to set the bar and get trolled by real trolls rather then PL'd 5 year olds.

Not sayin there aint exceptions...
