Does this change ever get reverted? Seems like this basically ruins the game for the lowbies. And some of us simply cant group most of the time.

Was noticing some exp discrepancies last night with my brother's necro. But it was at low level so that could be part of it. He'd let his pet kill a monster for about 90% of the way, then lifetap it down and get less than with some dots loaded up on it. Sort of hard at low levels as the pet adds a considerable chunk of DPS for the lowbies.

For a lowbie mage it's not a big deal: you just need to reclaim your pet when the monster is fleeing and finish it off yourself. This consumes one malachite per kill, but if you're smart about what you kill you should be OK money-wise. For a lowbie necro you can do most of the damage to the mob yourself with dots, lifetaps, etc.
