the sky is falling, technical difficulties on a free product....omgz.

For real people, do something else for a bit.
Normally I would agree, but some of us only have select hours of play time, and when the server continually goes down during those select hours, it makes it very difficult to enjoy.

What makes it worse is that the rate this is happening is only increasing.

Your personal time has nothing to do with a free product. It's free. Thus you cannot complain. IF you were paying monthly and there were issues, than you would have every right to complain.

Yes it's free so no right to complain. The freeness is probably contributing to the issue because we may be running on lesser equipment than is optimal and/or we may be using a bargain ISP or on some sort of limited usage deal. Or it could be DOS attacks. Or it could be something else entirely.

Granted it is happening more lately than I can recall in my 2 or so years of play here. I have to believe however that Nil and Rog are aware of the problem. Because they are who they are I am also sure that whatever steps can be taken are either being taken now or will be soon.

This is America. I have the right to be pissed about anything... I don't care that it's free.

And, yes, I to have a life.

Complaining and being pissed aren't the same broski... Also, I wasn't aware you could get checks from the government for complaining, you must be an expert.

Doing nothing doesn't require action, complaining does...

Anyway... I'm gonna get a glass of scotch, and try to log in..

Food at a soup kitchen is free.
If it's unnecessarily hot and scolds a homeless man, should he just suck it up and deal with it?
What if it burns more than one person and it happens every couple of days when they serve soup in particular?
Should they all just deal with it because it's free?

What if the food isn't quite hygienic and they get sick or at least bad stomach pains.
Should they all just deal with it because it's free?

People who defend this 'free' argument are just asses with nothing better to do.

It's safe to say that other servers run on less hardware with less support than P99 and yet they don't have this issue.
And why on Earth don't any of the guides, GMs or admins pop up a broadcast as soon as they see the error (or get messaged) as to let people know not to zone or log out?

P.S. server is up
