Those are great but they are not what I am talking about. I mean the physical book 'EverQuest Atlas: The Maps of Myrist' you know the one with the shiny cover [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

It's not that later games are junk...It's that they're built a lot more completely than EQ was so things like player-made maps are less necessary. For example, I only used player-made maps in WoW for dungeons (for obvious reasons) or mining. But WoW wasn't and isn't a junk game. I had a ton of fun playing it for a few years.

EQ was raw enough that these kinds of resources are essential.

You do know the whole reason WoW is around and well developed is because of EQ right? You can't have a toaster before you have sliced bread

Hey Nick. I mentioned the Atlas in another thread. I used to have that but not sure if I tossed it. Very cool you still have yours; would be cool to see them on the hosted map site!
