Might want to see what names are really after that server first. Hint : DA wouldn't have been able to do it without VD, at a time when TMO had to sneak into Fear behind VD because TMO couldn't break to the west wall themselves.

VD refused to merge with DA; TMO took sloppy seconds. But at least you can break fear now!

In all seriousness what killed DA was the 2-3 suspensions. People just stopped logging in. Then we went through a patch were some people went on extended breaks. VD was there for the numbers not so much for the "know how".

But yes VD was asked to merge and they didnt think it was what the guild wanted. To be honest when Ascension was absorbed into TMO I wasnt surprised.

DA was no more there was just this "Ascenson" left. I led a raid after a server reset one time and half the fucking guild didnt know were the fuck innoruuks ramp was. We trained the ramp clear and spent the next hour finding corpses all over the fucking zone. Simply put we invited anyone with any sort of toon that could possibly help us. I left soonafter for IB / TR.

TMO was never on the raid scene until they obsorbed Ascension. This was when they were raiding with 100 people.

Long story short though was DA/VD had a good relationship and worked good together so they were asked about a merger.

No matter what Faglazen says haha =D
