This sounds like having a hot girlfriend and dumping her due to being annoying as hell. Then after a few days without sex, your like dam I miss that crazy good sex (regret). Then your like dam I wish I could be sex buddies with her still. So back to the game aspect, it was very NICE of Taxi to give it to him maybe not realizing what he had exactly, so maybe the sex buddies can be like sell the item and split it and everyone’s happy?
