This whole thread just makes you /facepalm.

Zone plugging is confirmed classic. If you make someone pull plug, you won. In fact, you probably caused them more of a penalty then if you actually killed them because you shamed them by making them pull plug, made them take the time to log out, wait a few minutes until they think the coast is clear, and then log back in, and they didn't even get to respawn with mana.

ALL of the suggestions in the original discussion thread introduced more problems then it actually solved.

Implementing rules that make GM's use their judgement to discipline people even more on a server that is dead partially from GM's using bad judgement is pretty stupid.

That's what happens when you make it public (moreso than it already is) that you can exploit and cheat all you want as long as you are in the largest guild on either server, with no repercussions, as is proved time and again in multiple cases across both servers' history.
