For some reason I don't think inward reflection would solve the problem of TMO's non classic attitude and cockblocking of others.

Hopefully the GM's take a look at that poll and realize a good part of the community (that is left I'm sure there are more that haven't even checked here anymore) is fed up with the situation.

Nobody is claiming to be an angel danyelle.. but saying we aren't allowed to criticize the actions of others because we might have made a mistake in the past is silly and hollow.

TMO has repeatedly shown the one thing lots of courts would agree shows that the guilty have improved.. contrition / sympathy for those they have wronged

all TMO ever says is.. you should be stronger or better because training is possible

like everybody wants to play in a game without any rules at all

I'm not saying people aren't allowed to criticize other's actions. I'm also going to make it clear, this post (these posts) aren't in defense of TMO. Nor of IB, or BDA, or VD. It's against the methods you all go about dealing with this. People are refusing to try to be mature about this. If I wanted to take the time to, I could quote about 40 posts from each guild involved, just in the last week alone, that leads me to believe you're all in like 4th grade. You just HAVE to fight.

Criticism is one thing. But it's no excuse to turn to rabid trolling (which many members from all guilds involved do), nor is it an excuse to drag the argument out into Server Chat when it belongs in RnF.

He has yet to play any EQEmu server and was not a member of EQEmu prior to coming here.

Doesn't even know how EQEmu works yet.
Has yet to even log in to P99.

^^^This right here. 99% of where this server's population comes from anymore. People that play here, for the most part, don't come from within the EQEmu community at large anymore. Because everyone on EQEmu is aware of P99, and if they wanted to play here they would have done it already. Instead we get people that read the millions of "come join P99!" comments on Classic EQ videos on Youtube, or friends/family of people that already play here, and they decide they want to try it out. They have no idea how EQEmu works. They don't even know what BucaneerBays are. They start out right here, on the forums to try to figure it out. To learn how to ste it up and get a feel for the server and community. You know what the first freaking thing they see is?

Then add on top of that things like the fact that people with spouses/children/roommates have to wait in a 4-5 month queue to get an IP exemption just to play together. You guys wanna get people to play here but almost everything you do is counter productive to that goal.

If you guys can't be civil or friendly with each other (Which I really wish we all could, but I can see that is well beyond possible now) can you at least take this to RnF where it belongs, and keep it there....for good? No one is going to want to play here if this is their first impression of the server. Classic EQ isn't worth this. Nor is this Classic.

Anyway, I'm done. I'd rather not get tangled up in this, but I feel it's something that needed to be said, and I'd be damned if I didn't make an attempt. Ignore me if you want. No skin off my nose now.

everything you say just shows weak moderation of the forums.

If you are calling for the internet to be a friendlier place I can get behind that.. but It's not going to get there without people to enforce forum rules.

I could go back and find obvious troll comments by many posters that have nothing to do with topic of the thread.

derail attempt and successes by people to get into pissing matches and the mods do nothing about it.

some posts are nothing but name calling and still nothing is done.

This is why the server had degenerated. IB's and BDA do indeed want the server to be productive, although (as seen in VP last night), they are continuing to attempt trains on pug raids.

I would have no problem with them if they changed their ways, but honestly, it does not look like anyone there has the balls to take the initiative and either:

a.) Speak up

b.) Leave the guild

c.) Opt not to take part in bad acts
