I had to quit buying new MMOs, I bought like every new one (sans super heroes) for the past 2 years and every single one sucked dick.

Don't buy into the hype, wait a couple months and see what it develops into.

Normally I'd agree 100%. I'm jaded after getting too excited pre-launch with games that end up lacking.

However, the guys posting here aren't buying into the hype. I believe they are saying they actually played the game and really enjoyed it. That's encouraging to hear, and especially coming from this crowd gives me hope. I expect the fanboys on the GW2 forums to claim it's the best game since computers were invented, but having a thumbs up from some veteran EQ players means a lot more.

I've been going back and forth on whether I want to buy it or not. I don't know if I want to go through all this crap again in yet another game.

But....if it were actually, you know, fun---that would be another story.

Is it possible? Could it actually be----fun?

Whoa, don't go off my opinion! I only played to the teens and had like 3% of the world discovered.
