That's the thing...I said before I would wait and get a mac, but if it's basicly a Sony supported EMU that has all of the problems of an EMU, why bother? Even if you wanted to get a mac, you would be crazy not to go check it out on PC first before making that investment if there are known issues. Lack of development and support for a server like that I can understand, but performance issues that break bards? On a live server now?
Besides the era, being on a live server with the polish and performance that should bring is half the point, no? I say this as a current paying subscriber to EverQuest.

Is this normal for Mac users? Could it have something to do with being on a Windows machine using a hacked copy of EQ Titanium to connect? Is there a Trojan in the patch files so that Secrets can see what kind of porn I'm viewing late at night? I have no idea. I tried asking some higher level bards if they had difficulty PBAoE kiting but they all seemed to be using charm and chants instead.

Thanks anyways though. The server still excites me, just looks like I'm playing something else to start.

I'm on my bard Hyarth. Not sure what your character name is. I'm loafing around PoK re-memming songs heh.

It's because prox aggro actually works there. Can just gather a swarm, charm one mob, let the swarm beat your mob to a pulp, hide/invis to break charm when your pet is at a few %left, snare the former pet (to separate it from pack), charm a new mob, sick that new pet on the old one and get the exp while the swarm beats on your new pet. etc etc etc. Can plow through the entire stalker camp in just minutes. Likewise, the same strategy can be used to break into and solo Pofear. As for your pb-aoeing not working? I'm not sure what's wrong. I haven't done that in a long time and I was never a fan of that method, though I've successfully done snow cougars in iceclad, rockhoppers in dawnshroud, and w/e random animals i could grab in stonebrunt (for hides).
