Luclin mod rods had no recast time, 3 charges, and you could have a regular mod rod with it too. Sorry, didn't play in PoP. Don't know nothing about your recast time talk. Aegolism is velious, nice, big surprise.

Other than Kael, all of velious is AoE based. Alot of AoE in velious.

The AEs of Velious are much like that of Luclin. Casters mostly negated them by hidding behind walls, and timing em to pop out cast some spells if needed and hide when its about to go off.

Even then... Aegolism being a group buff vs single, again, another time sink. Sure you can buff your entire raid with Aego single... or do it group-by-group or later MGB. All that does is save you time where you are staring into your spell book, you know, the epitome of challenging in an MMO.
