Szeth with a dose of stupidity as usual. Yes, num nuts, I really think buffing someone is all that it takes to make a great shaman.
I'd say meeting the basics of the class is a good place to start. Add to that some finesse in difficult situations and you're doing better. To really get up there, though, in my opinion, you should be able to solo some difficult mobs. I've never seen or heard about Baubarian doing anything remotely impressive other than showing up to 90% of raids in whatever guild and buffing less overall than people with one third the attendance.
