Well I suppose we can have multiple ideas. None of it benefits anyone, so yea :P

EQ event pvp is fairly untouched by both Sony and eqemu, afaik. So all ideas are welcomed.

Currently, this is the way I have mine set up. I had to scrap the wisp idea when I realized that not everyone has global textures. Wisps aren't native to potimea :T So, its currently set up to play capture the goblin.

Idea is to keep each team separate in their base, by their flag, until the match starts.

Match doesn't start until there are X number of players.

When the match starts, the gates in the base raise up, and the players may exit. (Yes, I stole this idea from wow BGs)

When a player zones in, he or she is chosen for a team. (whichever has less at the time)

An opposing teams flag pole (shown above) when clicked, makes the goblin follow you, gives you a DING! sound, and creates a zonewide emote like [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]as long as it is not following someone else at the time.

If the blue flag is brought within 5(?) proximity distance of red flag pole, and red flag isn't following anyone, red team would capture the flag and score a point.

If a player dies, he or she should go to their team's designated graveyard area, fully geared, imo.

Can add some features of spelleffects when something happens. Like, blue flag carrier glows blue, red base hallway glows red, etc. Aesthetics for later.

Needs work on team selection and graveyard. Other than that, its looking pretty good imo!

How many people would play something like this?
