I am not here to argue VZTZ or Red99. I played both and know what I experienced. If red99 did some things to increase its fun factor then the population would shoot back up. Just sayin'

The fact is that it's not getting worse every day. I'm not saying it couldn't get better, but it's maintained a stable population for about 3 months. It's not going to die. You guys played on VZTZ when it averaged 80 people a day and half of them were boxers so it's ridiculous that you act as if red99 is unplayable with four times as many non-boxed people.

You guys have to stop assuming that the VZTZ crowd is the only one whose opinions matter. The majority of the server probably finds red99 extremely fun (why else would they continue playing?), more than VZTZ. Different people value different things in a server; I find red99 more fun because the community and population makes it easier for me to be anti-pk, and because the server is more well coded (especially with pathing, spells, exploits, cheat detection, etc.). I also prefer slower exp since it leads to more mid-level pvp, and greater consequences for exploiters. While I think VZTZ was borderline unplayable, I'm okay with some people liking it more. Just expect to be corrected when you say that VZTZ was "ten times more successful" when it had its ups and downs just like red99.

Searyx you're right about one thing. Since red99 is the only server around we should focus on making it better and not reminiscing about a past server.
