Same here.. around mid 40's i would round up everything at the camp at once.. then aoe.. and afk a bit


took me about 10 hours to get both bits.


On a side note.. you need fairly high faction with the clerics guild in qeynos... i was apprehensive when i first go there because i'm a dwarf.


I would hail the quest start and make sure you get quest dialogues before you do hand in.


Also moonstones is a fast was to raise faction.. you can buy them by the hundreds because people turn in gnoll fangs then just npc the moonstones instead of turning it in for more faction.


200~300 turn ins will most likely cap your faction.


TL / DR

Don't waste hours of camping doing turn in before you are sure your faction is high enough.. GM's won't return your stuff ;p
