The first time I heard this song I seriously thought that the only explaination for it was that beyonce got bored and was like "let's see if I can write a ridiculously unoriginal, horrible sounding song.. and still have it be popluar"

Anyone who legitimately thinks this is a good song needs to be shot.

Oh, also.. would totally smash beyonce. She's like a slightly less wealthy, far more attractive oprah.

Agreed!
The music itself is completely minimalistic (not in a good way), the production value is lame and the lyrics sub-par. I think people lsee a video that they visually enjoy and equate it with liking the song.
