There is absolutely no difference between a PC running OSX86 and a Mac running OS X from the point of view of an EQMac client. This has absolutely nothing to do with a Wintel client.

We aren't all alike here. Some of us just want to leave this place (for whatever reason) and continue to play EQ in a different environment.

Thanks for brushing off my post. I'm clearly not in your band of brothers. Getting OSX onto a PC is more trouble than I'm willing to go through just to get access to a legit, non-BroBox 2.0, reasonably classic EQ server where exploting and hacking pieces of shit are banhammered. Hobart connects to EQMac using a PC client. PC players are stigmatized as hacking scumbags. 2 + 2 = ?

Are you legitimately damaged or something??

I was pointing out that your original statement (you can't install OS X on a PC) was incorrect, and you're the one that's typecasting here. I'm not part of any group of people on this server. I haven't played in months and don't even recognize half of my former guild.

But, you keep on flaming me there, champ, even though you're the one in the wrong here. Whatever works for you.

My original statement was an exhortation not to hack and exploit on EQMac and expect to be able to undo bans by rules lawyering the GMs or buying them drinks. After reading through various forums, it is apparent that some people are determined to cheat on any platform, it seems, whether they have to hack DLLs or install a Mac OS X VM. "Stay in your sandbox" is an adominition to hackers/cheaters to stay on a server where they will go (eventually) unpunished.

Alas, it is clear that I am functionally retarded if you believe that I am so dense as to not know about cross-platform OSes. I lose. You win.
