But yet you choose to be in a Zerg on a one guild PVP server where there is no competition?

I will admit that THIS is what makes PvP fun for me: it having a purpose beyond just killing to kill.

Unfortunately EQ has a place in my mind as PvE, like I did it back in the day, and I don't have the time or will to basically re-learn the game on red. But for that, though, I'm sure I would love it [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Incorrect. Perhaps since you clearly have a PvE orientation, the vast majority of YOUR PvP happened in these situations - but that wasn't the reality for the rest of us who played to PvP.

You were probably in one of the few gank guilds that killed lower levels and most 60s disregarded. During classic-velious, all the biggest guilds were part of raiding alliances that were at war on Rallos Zek. They made up the majority of the population of the server.

And just to be clear, i have nothing against any guild or play style, do what you like, but to pretend that the majority of people played on rz/vz/tz for just pvp and not the progressive pve (raiding), would be wrong.
