How do you figure?
Amelinda called Pennand (TMO) as being the first to engage, therefore the kill was ours and I looted when I was finally able to.

Clarification please.
From what I understand the DT wasn't taken until 5+ seconds into the fight, and when it was taken there were already plenty of people on Inny, so he never disengaged..........much like TMO on vox

So, amelinda stated that inny dt'd and went into seek mode and the first person on the encounter log was pennand.

however, you guys say that people engaged inny instantly, he DT'd after being engaged, and he never went into a new encounter log because he never disengaged.

So pennand was the first person to engage anyhow? I am missing how pennand ended up listed as FTE but wasn't FTE.

thats not quite how it happened if you were there. A pet clearly dies and then Chowda eats a DT a couple seconds later. Before Chowda eats the DT there is a IB/VD(cant recall which, think it was a SK), who engaged a successful melee round before everyone.

I havent talked to Amelinda, but im assuming the Pennand FTE but not was because Pennand's pet drew aggro first, prior to the DT. Which would go against the server rule that pets are not = to FTE.

I havent talked to Amelinda, but im assuming the Pennand FTE but not was because Pennand's pet drew aggro first, prior to the DT, but before any TMO lands a FTE. So the ruling made on the spot would go against the server rule that pets are not = to FTE. THings happen under pressure and a GM making a mistake and correcting the mistake should be something we applaud for the future integrity of decision-making

i thought pets dont count for FTE? i could be wrong..I just thought that's always how it was. Also the pet died...maybe if the pet lives its different. I dont know.
