I seriously can't begin to fathom why people are so afraid of YT and global OOC. This will only help the server out, which is dying, everyone afraid of this is probably a scrub who will get called out or embarrassed by being on the right side of YT. Just make a limit on how many OOC emotes you can make in a given time, that solves EVERYTHING. If people don't like reading funny green text then they have the option to turn it off, which some people did on VZTZ.

This classic Everquest deal to the end is not going to work, some modern day implementations such as global chat and YT need to be made. VZTZ was so much fun because of the community and the luls that were to be had.

Also: inb4 VZTZ was scum infested maggot cock drip. It was the most enjoyable server I ever played on in EQEMU. If you did not play VZTZ then you don't have any business talking shit on it.
