Bjosh, they run this server FOR FREE. Give them a break. I imagine they have to prioritize fixes. If there's an exploit or a game-breaking bug, I would certainly hope that they'd get to that first.
Somebody above mentioned the boats on EQlive. They've been broken basically forever and there's been no attempt made to fix them at all. THAT's ridiculous. Here's a multimillion dollar company with the resources to fairly easily fix anything they want to, yet they'd rather posh out some new mudflationistic expansion that onyl a small percentage of players will ever see.
I'd say Rogean & co. deserve kudos for making this thing work at all.
(don't get me wrong, I'd love to see the lifts fixed too but we need to take a step back and put things in perspective)

Just a side note on this problem:

True n00bs that try to play here and start in GF are asking how to get out of the city all the time. Some have left in disgust. I have been playing in GF around a week and I have seen several instances of this.

Though this does not seem important to us non-true n00bs it is very important to real ones who are just starting out. If this can be fixed then lets get it on the to do list and grow our n00b population.

Well put. I would think this is actually one of the more important things to fix (if possible), even though it is not important to most of the people who post here.
